Stonework

At Galaxy Tiling & Renovations, we offer stonework services such as building stone structures around the house, around the fireplaces or around swimming pools. We also repair the current stone structures. Contact us for more details about stonework repair services.

Compared to tiles, stone is thicker and more difficult to work with. Cutting stones also requires a water saw while tiles can be easily cut with a tile cutter. As using stones in some areas of the home can be expensive, this is mainly a personal choice to use them. Some people prefer to use stones rather than tiles or concrete as stones may give a better look to the house.

In addition, when stone is worked in outside areas like around fireplaces or swimming pools, a specific glue and silicon is used. These glues and silicons are only used for stones which can make the use of stones more expensive.
